Can you believe it's been two years since I first gazed into your beautiful brown eyes and fell head over heels in love? If someone had told me then that my love would grow and explode and multiply and overwhelmingly consume, I would never have believed I could love you more now than I did then, with just a picture in my hands. I was so wrong....I can't begin to tell you how incredible my love for you is.
You make me whole.

I remember reading your blog when you wrote about your travels to pick her up. It's amazing to me that so much time has passed. I loved seeing all of those pictures. Thanks for sharing!

I remember following along when I was pregnant with my daughter who was born in January 08 and being so excited for you. You were traveling to get Amari when I had my daughter. I can't believe it's been so long already. Motherhood is such a blessing.

It is hard to believe that you first saw Mari two years ago. I remember following your journey to Ethiopia to bring her home as you traveled right before we left for court in Russia. Amazing how quickly the time has flown since we first began those adoptions.

It absolutely astonishes me every single time I see a progression of photos like that - were they ever REALLY that little? They seem to be doubling in size (and cuteness) by the minute! Never would have thought it possible.
